The invention relates to a parking brake control device for locking a transmission shaft of a motor vehicle, and particularly of the transmission shaft, at the exit of a box. automatic gearbox, or a gearbox. More specifically, it relates to a parking brake control device comprising a guide movable between a locking position and an unlocking position of the parking brake, a toothed wheel in rotation with a transmission shaft, and a lever. blocking device between an unlocking position away from the gear wheel and a locking position between the teeth thereof, under the combined action of the guide, an engagement spring, and a spring clearance. In vehicles equipped with an automatic gearbox, or an electric motor associated with a gearbox, the driver shall have a multi-position control switch, including at least the following: "forward" (D), "Reverse" (R), "neutral point" (N) and "parking" (P). The lever transmits its position to the gearbox or gearbox via a cable or linkage. The parking position corresponds to a parking state of the vehicle, in which the movement of the vehicle must be prohibited. For this, the transmission shaft of the gearbox or reducer is immobilized, which prevents the rotation of the drive wheels of the vehicle, and immobilizes it. By the publication FR 2 878 487, there is known a locking mechanism of a motor vehicle transmission shaft of the type comprising a toothed parking wheel, integral in rotation with the transmission shaft, and a locking lever which carries a finger blocking device which can be received in a slot of the toothed wheel. The locking lever is pivotally mounted about a tilting axis, between an armed angular position in which the locking finger engages between two teeth of the parking wheel, and an unobstructed angular position. The mechanism comprises a release spring applying a constant force on the locking lever so as to push it towards said unobstructed angular position. It also includes a return spring, which holds the finger in a position not engaged, when the control lever of the gearbox is in position R, N or D. This spring is sized today to hold your finger in all road conditions, including potholes, or strong decelerations. The safety rules in this area impose an oversizing of the return spring, as well as the cocking spring. Oversizing the springs imposes on the driver a high effort to actuate the selector between one or other of the operating positions. The present invention aims to overcome this drawback of known control devices, by an adaptation measure, simple to implement on the latter. For this purpose, it proposes that the guide responsible for the tilting of the locking lever carries a stop limiting its tilt towards the gear when the guide is in the unlocked position, to avoid contact of the lever with the parking wheel. In a particular embodiment of the invention, the abutment comes into contact with a prohibition finger fixed on the lever so as to prevent it from tilting towards the toothed wheel. The stop is advantageously supported by an arm moving with the guide. Preferably, the stop is articulated on the arm, and pivots about a fixed axis, so as to deviate from the prohibition finger, when the guide moves from its unlocking position to its locking position. The present invention will be better understood on reading the following description of a non-limiting embodiment thereof, with reference to the appended drawings, in which: FIG. 1 represents the device proposed in the unlocking position, and FIG. 2 shows the same device in the locking position. The device shown diagrammatically in the figures, comprises a guide 1 movable between a locking position and an unlocking position of the parking brake, a toothed wheel 2, integral in rotation with a transmission shaft, and a locking lever 3, tilting between an unlocking position away from the gear and a locking position where it is engaged between the teeth 2a thereof. The guide 1 is in the form of a mobile carriage, moving in translation along a rigid support 4 (under the control of a non-detailed intermediate control system), comprising an anchoring point 6 for the end of a cable or actuating rod. Between Figure 1 and Figure 2, the guide 1 extends to the left, so as to impose the lever 3, to switch towards the toothed wheel 2, under the constraint of a cam or guide rail appropriate internal, not shown. An engagement spring 7, wound around a rod 8 of the guide 1, bears against it, to hold it in abutment against the locking lever 3. In this device, the movement of the locking lever 3 between its two positions takes place under the combined action of the guide 1, the engagement spring 7, and a release spring 9, mentioned in the drawings s. The guide 1 carries a stop 11 limiting the tilting of the lever 3 in the direction of the wheel 2, when the guide 1 is in the unlocked position to avoid contact of the lever 3 with the wheel 2. When the guide 1 is in the unlocking position, the abutment 11 comes into contact with a prohibition finger 12 fixed on the lever, and rests on it, so as to prevent the tilting of the lever 3 in the direction of the toothed wheel 2. The stop is supported by an arm 13 fixed on the guide 1, and moving with it. The arm 13 is connected to the abutment 11 by a pivot connection (axis, pin or other). The abutment 11 can rotate about its axis 14, which is fixed. Depending on its position, the stop may or may not be in contact with the locking finger 12 of the locking lever 3. In the nonlimiting embodiment of the invention illustrated by the figures, the stop 11 is articulated on the arm 13. It pivots about its fixed axis 14, so as to deviate from the prohibition finger, when the guide 1 moves from its unlocking position to its position of locking the parking brake. In the unlocking position (see FIG. 1), the locking lever 3 is disengaged from the wheel 2. The stop 11 is in contact with the prohibition finger, and limits the movement of the lever 3, to avoid its contact with the parking wheel 2. When the parking brake is actuated, the guide 1 rotates the abutment 11 around its axis 14 by releasing the finger 13 (see FIG. 2). In this position, the stop 11 can not oppose the engagement of the lever 3 between the teeth 2a of the toothed wheel 2. In position P, the stop is unlocked, to allow engagement of the parking finger. When the gear selector is in position R, N or D, the stop inserted in the device has a rigid damping. This stop prevents contact of the locking lever with the parking wheel, especially in rough driving conditions or sudden driving, with the desired level of security. Indeed, the position is maintained by the support between two parts that do not rotate. Thanks to the proposed arrangement, it is possible to reduce the dimensioning of the return spring by at least a factor of three, which also makes it possible to reduce the total dimensioning of the other springs of the device (cocking spring and, if necessary, billing spring), to improve the performance of the gear selector.
